This sale is for a finely woven and large Chinese textile dating to the 18/19th century. The textile was most likely made as a covering of some kind as it has mirrored images on the top and bottom. The detail in the work is superb and displays elaborate and finely detailed dragons done in gilt thread. Quality of the work is superb as can be seen in the photos and is done on a dark blue kesi ground. The entire piece measures 32.25 inches (82cm) x 25.25 inches (64cm). Overall condition is very good as can be seen in the photos. There are no tears and only some staining on the back that does not go through to the front. Just a beautiful and early piece of Chinese textile being saleed at $9.99 with .
