I am selling this breathtaking antique Islamic syrian brass bowl. The bowl dates from late 19th Century / late 1800's.

It has been hand chased with a stunning script. The calligraphy is extremely fine quality perfectly completed. There are also other geometric designs and also a pierced design near the top rim.

This is one of the finest Islamic bowls I have sold and I am sure most will agree. The bowl is so much more beautiful in person. It has to be held in your own hand to fully appreciate the work and effort that had gone into creating such a masterpiece.

The diamter of the bowl is 28.2cm = 11.1 inches

The height is 15cm = 5.9 inches

An unbelievable amount of work and effort has gone into creating this breathtaking bowl, all completed by hand.

It is in excellent condition, very minor signs of wear and usage.
