DESCRIPTION : Afinely carved 19th / early 20th century antique Chinese rock crystal figure of Budai, the Buddhist figure carved in standing posture and carrying a large sack at his back, the crystal clear stone almost flawless with high translucency. Comes with a later date custom made hardwood stand and bearing old paper labels and price tag to base.

COMMENT : Chinese rock crystal carving of figures are rare.

AGE : Chinese, Qing dynasty, circa 19th / early 20th century.
MARK : no mark or signature.
DIMENSION : approximately 4 1/8\" (10.5 cm) high; about 5 1/8\" (13 cm) high on wood stand.
CONDITION : in excellent condition; just a tiny nick to the lip and tiny natural stone blemishes only. No other damage or repair noted. Wooden stand also in excellent condition with small chips.WORLDWIDE SHIPPING AND HANDLING FOR THIS ITEM IS FIXED AT : US$30
