Please read the following before offerding - thank you!
(1) response:I greatly value both my customers and my
100% response Rating for over 11 years.
I work hard every day to provide accurate listings, multiple photographs, careful packing, fair shipping and fast and friendly communication.I leave response promptly upon payment and ask that buyers return the courtesy upon receipt ofyour item so I can be assuredit hasarrived and you are happy!I strive to ALWAYS earn 5 stars in every response category,
So please contact me first if you have any concerns, and I will do my best to make it right. (2) Handling Fee: I add avery modest handling fee which only partially covers a considerable investment in time and materials. This is already included in the calculated rates shown. The feedoes not in any wayoffset the rising listing and commission fees, nor the PayPal transaction and commission fees (4 separate seller fees on EVERY listing). All ofthese are invisible to the buyer, but take a very substantial bite out of our modest profits. My shipping fees are up-front and transparent.
I try to offer more than one method where possible.(3) Insurance: now holds the seller responsible for safe delivery of all items, regardless of whether they are insured.
As a result, wecan no longer afford to make insurance "optional" on valuable or fragile items. The shipping/handling fee now includes the first $50 of insurance.
INTERNATIONAL BUYERS:Custom Forms must declare the exact value of the contents, (excluding shipping.) The insured amount and the customs amount must agree.
We are not allowed to label your item as a "gift", so pleaseconsider customs duties when offerding.
Due to multiple problems withinternational shipping, and also with some foreign buyers, we regret that we will now use ONLY Express Mail International to ship fragile or valuable items.Express Mailis the only service thatoffers true tracking directly to the buyer's address. First Class has no tracking once it leaves the U.S.; Priority Mailtracks only to the country, not to the actual address.PayPal does not consider this sufficient to prove an item was received, and they hold the seller fully responsible.
Even if insured, we are not reimbursed for the shipping charges, and we have lost far too much money from buyers who claim not to have received their items.
Items can be delayed for weeks in customs, over which we have no control. The buyermeanwhile gets a full refund, and if and whenthe item finally arrives, we are never notified. One alternative was for usto stop shipping worldwide, which many sellers have done, but we greatly value our international customers and are reluctant to do this. Hence, we are offering Express Mail International for our valuable and/or fragile items.
Thank you for your understanding.
