This sale is for a finely painted Chinese porcelain tile. The tile is hand painted with a detailed winter landscape scene with buildings in the foreground and boats on the water and mountains in the background. In the top right hand corner is a group of writing most likely describing the scene. It comes in a nice hard wood from. We were unable to get the back of the frame off because of the old nails. It is definitely an old tile and most likely dates to the Republic period. The entire piece measures 15 x 10 inches with the frame and appears to be in excellent condition with no damage.
