Up for sale with is a really incredible quality early 19th Century Sterling Silver Table Snuff Box or Case. The Case is of a nice early form with an excellent Etched design of a Period Continental Gentleman harvesting Wheat. The Box is super thick Sterling Silver throughout with a heavy weight of 25 grams. The Box also is marked by the maker J. R. Kalb, whom I believe would be a Continental Silversmith of the early 19th Century, possibly even late 18th Century Period and then it was also Stamped Sterling when it was brought into the U.S. The Box is a nice large size, which was typical of the Georgian Period, measuring 4" long by 2-3/4" wide and sits 7/8" tall. The Box is in very fine condition throughout and I am sure the new owner will be most impressed. I am sure few examples like this come up for sale, especially with !
