This is a 1/4 scale replica of the dress that First Lady, Michelle Obama, wore for an official visit to Mexico City. Franklin Mint is well known for their high quality and attention to detail. The HARD to FIND outfit had an extremely short production run due to changes at Franklin Mint during the time of release of the Michelle Obama dress up doll. It consists of the fully lined knee length charmeuse satin dress with goldtone hoop earrings, goldtone cuff bracelets and yellow strappy heels. The dress closes with an invisible zipper in the back.

The First Lady was famous for yellow clothes that she looked FABULOUS in. Thanks to her, yellow became the top color choice for many women during the Obama administration making this a perfect example of her fashion influence on the nation.

This dress also fits other Franklin Mint dolls very nicely and displays well onthe Marilyn dress form (since Franklin Mint did not produce one for the Michell Obama doll). It has a nice 60\'s look for celebrity dolls, too.The Michelle Obama doll is made from the Marilyn body mold so her clothes should fit Marilyn perfectly.

Outfit comes with the original Certificate of Authenticity (COA) that came with it.The box does have a few bends and crimps on the sides. The window area is intact.
