Ford Model A "rolling" Chassis Hot Rat Rod Frame Scta Scca Flathead Halibrand Nr For Sale
TIRES AND WHEELS ARE NOT INCLUDED. Up for sale is an old ford 1928-1931 model a chassis. Appears that everything is mostly there suspension/brake/axle wise but please refer to photos before posting any offers. The frame itself is rusted quite a bit on the passenger side and the driver side is much of the same....just not as bad.....this is why the extra set of frame rails (please see last few photos) will go along with this chassis. If you're handy with a welder or have the patience you should be able to put a solid frame together with the parts. The front crossmember also appears to have had some flat stock welded to where the front spring bolt goes through it in the center to strengthen it up some. I believe that this was from a 1928 roadster truck but I cannot confirm it 100% and I do not have a title for the frame. The wishbone/axle/springs/banjo all have surface rust and don't appear to be all that bad pitting wise in comparison to the frame rails themselves. I wouldn't think this would be for the model a purist who restores car to like new condition due to the pitting but who knows....the hot rodder would probably want to box the frame as well.....please refer to photos and if you have any questions please email me. I would like this paid for within 5 days and removal from property must happen within 2 weeks unless prior arrangements have been made for storage.
