This is a beautiful original antique Art Nouveau FOSTER & BAILEY (F & B) Sterling Silver & cut glass vanity/ dresser powder jar.

• It is marked "F & B STERLING PAT'D 1960." There is a monogram reading"BD". These can generally be buffed off by a jeweler if so desired.
• Fosters & Bailey were very well known American silver makers.
• This silver pattern features very high-relief repousse in an unusual design with a lady surrounded by birds & flowers, just beautiful.
• The sterling top is in overall fantastic condition, with general wear and minor dings No splits, holes, large dings, or repairs.
• The base of the jar is cut glass in very good condition, no chips, cracks or damage. It could use a good cleaning.
• Top measures approximately 3-1/4" across & 3/4"high at the tallest point. The jar measures between 2-3/4 - 3" tall and 13-1/2" around the belly.
• Quite heavy, weighs almost a pound.
• Overall excellent condition for 50+ years!
