A absolute MUST for working on your precious pens. Just grab the section with the rubberized grip (does not mar or scratch section)- hold the barrel tightly with your other hand - and twist (sometimes you may need to go back and forth). The section will free itself from the barrel *. Non-slip rubberizedhandle holds the section tightly. Distributed even pressure around the section prevents damage to your pen's section. Great leverage for those hard to remove sections. Some restorers will use 2 of these tools (one on the section & one on the barrel) for added strength and gripping power.
