FRANCE LIMOGES ENAMEL SIGNED PORTRAIT~COPPER BACCARAT? JAR ORMOLU BARBOLA ROSES

I have had this pretty French jar, box for a while. It is not perfect, but very nice just the same. Please read my entire description.
I believe this is a Limoges enamel portrait on copper. I know they made porcelain portraits as well, but this has a hollow sound when you tap on it. I have not taken the jar apart. The portrait has raised areas, foil or metallic look areas in her blouse, and some in her floral headdress. It is signed L.C to her right. The enamel is in good condition. Very minor surface wear if any. The portrait is bordered by salmon colored Guilloche Enamel. The enamel has fine hairlines in clusters in 3 areas, one is the 12 o'clock position, one at the 3-4 o'clock positions. These are fine, but wanted to mention for accuracy.
The jar measures about 4" across by 2.5" tall. The portrait alone is about 1.75" across. This weighs about a pound, will box under 2 pounds.
The jar is hinged, has a beautiful Barbola style swags of Ribbons and Roses draping the sides. The glass looks to be of fine quality, the paneled sides look to be ground surfaces. The bottom shows wear, consistent with age. The lid has a beveled mirror, it is in poor condition, cloudy and spots.
