Terrific, ORIGINAL 1930's Photograph of Franklin Delano Roosevelt, speaking to a large crowd in Butte, Montana. The photo is embossed blind stamped by the photographer at the bottom left; "C. Owen Smithers - The Commercial Photographer - Butte, Montana". There is an address in the blind stamp, but it is too small for me to read, however, I can make out Butte, Montana
A NOTE: I am not sure, but I think this photo may have been taken in 1932, during a visit to Butte, while Roosevelt was campaigning for President, and before he won his first term as the 32nd President of the United States. Internet research reveals that he visited Butte in 1932 during a campaign stop.

Condition: Original gelatin silver photograph - small, diagonal chip off of the bottom left corner - very small chip at lower left margin edge - top left corner small peel - wear & light soil at upper right edge & corner - some creasing at corners - also, a 1/2" edge tear at top right corner which has been taped from the back - light surface dirt, visible in the left side sky portion of the photo - on the back, there are some pencil notations and a piece of tape toward the bottom edge (on the back) - please see scanned images
