- Envoile stockings from Frenchnylons -These luxury stockings are the closest thing in look and feel that you can get to 1950s vintage stockings, except that these Envoile \"Scala\" stockings are LONGER than vintage and sized for today\'s morphologies (people were smaller in the 1950s than they are now). These stockings come in 6 sizes from XS through to XL and then we also have a special Extra Large size for the more stately or fuller leg which we call XLF (not longer, just fuller). VINTAGE-INSPIRED, made TODAY.There aren\'t many working Reading machines left in the world... our stockings are MADE IN FRANCE for us on genuine Reading looms. The Scala fully fashioned stocking is knitted flat and is made from traditional monofilament yarn (and that\'s not the case for all of the fully fashioned stockings made today) ensuring crystal-clear transparency all along the leg as can be seen from the photos. And how\'s this for that final touch : we\'ve added our very own retro-styled logo onto the welt of one stocking, positioned to be worn on the outside of the right leg, just like you\'ll find with most pairs of vintage stockings.100% Nylon, monofilament yarn, 60 gauge, 15 denier.
