I have been getting a ton of interest on the pump. I have added a link with more pictures. I cleaned the OUTSIDE of the ORIGINAL FRY GLASS CYLINDER. Obviously I can’t clean the inside without taking the pump apart. I discovered the Etched FRY Logo on the ORIGINAL GLASS CYLINDER when I cleaned the pump. The inside has years and years of grime. There is pitting to the rods that hold the top of the pump on.
There is absolutely NO DAMAGE to the ORIGINAL FRY GLASS CYLINDER. NO CRACKS, NO CHIPS, NO DINGS. NO DAMAGE.
JUST TO BE CLEAR ABOUT THE ORIGINAL FRY GLASS CYLINDER CONDITION
There is absolutely NO DAMAGE to the ORIGINAL FRY GLASS CYLINDER. NO CRACKS, NO CHIPS, NO DINGS. NO DAMAGE.
The pump has its
ORIGINAL FRY data plate
State of Wisconsin data plate
Underwriters Laboratories Inspected data plate.
The pump has NO structural damage. Yes there is surface rust. There is some pitting to the base, but nothing that is not normal for a pump that has been outside for its entire life. When I mounted the pump on the concrete pad it is on now, I raised it about an inch so that no water or debris would collect at the base.
There is a small dent to the handle. The handle opening has a small door that can be closed when the handle is taken off. The small tab on the pump base to bolt it closed has long ago broken off.
The gallon markers are in pretty rough shape and a few of them are missing.
I attached an electrical cord to the outside of the conduit to electrify and light the pump. It is attached with zip ties.
The pump still has its original wiring on the inside at the base. As far as I know all of the internal mechanisms are present.
The pump has a BUCKEYE shut off valve and BUCKEYE nozzle.
