This is a used film camera from the 1950-60’s called theFujipet or Fujipet Thunderbird. They were only sold in Japan. These are plastic toy cameras similar to a modern Holga. They have plastic lens with a fixedfocal length and a fixed shutter speed (around 1/60-1/100), they also have abulb setting. There are threeaperture settings, 11, 16, and 22.They use medium format (120) film.If you have any questions about the operation of the camera you can askme or you can look it up on the internet for more info.

This camera is in working condition; I’ve used itrecently. The last image is apicture that I recently took with the camera using Fuji Velvia 100 slide film. The picture was not modified, no post-processing, just a straight scan. From the picture you can see that the camera works, but the edges are a little soft.

Cosmetically, the camera is in good shape, but there is a little bit of rust around the inside edge of the back cover (see the pic). There is a little bit of peeling ofthe leatherette on the edges (see the pic). The lens is scratch free, but has dust(see the pics), but does not affect the image quality. I believe the strap is original, it\'s plastic and a bit stiff, but still works as a strap.

The case is pretty worn out. It is very stiff, has a musty smell, spots of mold (?), and the zipper is difficult to use, but works. I only include the case as a bonus.

These are really simple, fun cameras and they are easy touse. Push the button that says (1)to cock the shutter and push the button labeled (2) to release theshutter. Then advance thefilm. Very simple and fun. Three caveats based on my experience, the aperture knob is very easy to slide around so make sure you have the rightaperture when you frame your shot. The second thing is to make sure it is on the “I” setting and not the“B” setting when taking a picture.B for bulb and I for instant. That red slider is easy to knock into the bulb setting which will messup your exposure. Finally, whenyou load the film, make sure it’s tight otherwise it will be wound very looselyas you’re using it causing light to leak in when you remove the film.
