What a fabulous Art Deco era necklace! It has graduated size beads of beautiful dark cherry amber bakelite. The necklace weighs40.9 grams. The largest bead measures approximately 15mm. The necklace measures 18 1/2" long. There is light age wear to the beads. The beads vary in shape and size, and have color variation as seen the the photo. They are a nice dark cherry color. The beads test to be bakelite with Simichrome.Necklace has been recently hand knotted on silk cord - it has the original round shaped barrel clasp that we found the necklace with. What a fine antique treasure! You will love it!
