Amint condition 14k gold filled pocket watch by the famous watch-maker, Illinois of the USA, witha21 jewelled high quality rail road movement. This is a beautifully made keyless-wound 14k gold filled and engraved and decorated pocket watch, made in ca. 1918. THE DIAL: 100% mint, thewhite enamel dial with black Arabic numerals and in bright condition with no chipsor hairlines and a cream dial centre. The dial with fine blue steel spade hands. Diameter is44 mm and signed Illinois. The crystal is also in excellent condition and retained securely.

THE MOVEMENT: 100% mint, with a damasked half-plate and a fine micrometer-regulator, and blue steel screws. A cut two arm bimetallic balance, with Breguet hairspring and lever escapement. The movement overall of very good quality, with a cut-away plate and gold plated wheels and 21 jewels, and adjusted to temperature and positions; fully signed, Elgin Watch Company, adjusted, double roller;number 3,208,721.This appears to be a 16 size, Burlington W. Company, 3/4 plate, adjusted to 3 positions. The watch ticking away on my desk as I type this, and keeping very good time for a 100 year old watch. The watch ismuch brighter and crisp than in these dark photos, which are limited by my camera and lighting equipment. The watch is in very good working order for its age.

THE CASE: 99% mint, the 14k gold filled and engraved case measures an impressive52 mm. The front and rear covers both close nice and tightly and are in good tight order. The case fully marked forSupreme Watch Company, and a case number of908,xxxx and marked20 years grade. The top coverscrews on tight and is in fine condition. The rear cover of the watch with a fine engraving, nicely detailed, The watch comes with a new presentation box to store the watch when not in use.

This is a high quality case, a work of art in its own right in crisp condition and of jewel like quality. The pictures show minor reflections and various dark marks, these are an artefact from the lighting and are not present in the watch case. This is a very fine period14k goldfilled pocket watch in simply stunning condition, which is a veryrare collectable item or a possible investment for the future or of course a fine gift for a birthday, anniversary, wedding etc.
