Three adjustable shelves and bottom drawer offer a wonderful display and storage area. Made of solid walnut the bookcase has been refinished at some time. The inside has been painted, probably to show off what was being displayed better and metal adjustable shelf brackets were added. The bookcase does come with a key for locking the doors, it will not work the drawer.Solid and sturdy(I see no apologies), this is a great size bookcase and will work equally well in a large home or smaller one.
