Fawn Zeller Ufdc Convention Doll, Miami Miss:
This beautiful porcelain molded doll by Fawn Zeller(NIADA) National Institute of American Doll Artists for the 1961UFDC conventionis 16" tall incised signed on her plate by the artist. She has a porcelain head with intaglio eyes with molded hair set in ringlets. A sweet Southern Belle, she has a lovely portrait face.
She has a porcelain head arms and legs with a cloth body. Her body is hard stuffed so she stands perfectly and straight. She was originally intended to wear an 1860s gown, but I've seen her looking adorable in a circa 1950s prom dress!
She is an exquisite example of the artist's ability that is unique to NIADA artists. This rare and earlyFawn Zeller UFDC Sovenir doll will be a highlight to your collection.
