This stunning vase was commisioned by Singleton Bailey of Loris, South Carolina. Mr. Bailey had Fenton make numerous pieces ofglass for him, primarily carnival,in limited editions. This pattern, called \"heavy iris\" originated at Dugan aroundthe turn of the century and Fenton made this version after acquiring the original Dugan mold. This lovely vase is made of vaseline yellowor topaz glass and has lots of opalescence and a sparkling carnival glass finish with multi-colored iridescense. It measures approximately 12.25\" tall by 6.5\" wide at the top and the bulbous part of the vase. It has asuper tight pie-crimp rim.This is a first quality item and has no chips, cracks or damage of any kind and comes in the original Fenton silver box.
