A fine condition 18th C. Mughal Indo-Persian or Rajput wootz katar. This example retains good gold koftgari on the handle and has a fine proportioned armor piercing blade, of heavy weight for its size. The scabbard is very nicely made, or iron cutout with hunting figures.
