Fine ANTIQUE Late 1700's/Early 1800's Georgian Silver Rococo Travelling Etui ~NR
Description
Item Description; FineAntique, late 1700's/early 1800's, Georgian, continental [unmarked, but tested] silver travelling etui. The etui is pocket sized and of tapering form, with push button opening and hinged lid. The body is embossed with a rococo style design. The hinged lid opens to reveal compartments for a fitted interior, sadly only contains one of the original tools. There are several tools lacking. The only item present is an oxbone rule.
Condition; The item is in reasonable order, as you often find with these etuis, there are areas of wear, certainly considering their age. The main wear to this etui, is several dings and dents. The hinge and push button are in working order, close and open as they should. Oxbone rule is split and has some losses, please see photos. A super early collectable item, just right for someone who wishes to collect the tools and restore to its former glory!
