• Fine Antique Chinese 16/17thC Ming Wanli Zhangzhou Swatow Blue & White Jarlet.
• Finejarlet with characteristic underglaze decoration. Zhangzhou kilns, Fujian province. Strong colours and fine glaze, not usually seen on Swatow ceramics.
• Measures approx.4.3 cmtalland5.9 cm at widest. Weight 76gr. Date c16th/17thC, Wanliperiod.
• Condition is very good, signs of wear and use commensurate with age.Slight knockon rim.

• Bibliography: A similar jarlet is illustrated in " Zhangzhou Ware Found in the Philippines" by Rita Tan (2007) pg 146, plate 143, second from left.
