Fine, Antique, Chinese Natural White Jade Carving, circa 18th-19th Century
This beautiful oval piece of white jade is beautifully pierce-carved, double sided, both sides and a very detailed piece. I was told the flower design of peonies, leaves and with peach fruit or moon, possibly symbolizing wealth and long life or celebration of new marriage, but I don\'t know.
This jade piece is slightly translucent, measures approx. 48 mm x 61 mm x 6 1/2 mm thick and weighs approx. 30 gms. Excellent Estate Condition, there is no damage I can see, no cracks, chips nor repairs. Lovely carving, beautiful piece!
