Antique 15CT Gold Portrait BangleAn original Antique fine solid 15ct gold bangle, with a glass locket panel. The panel encloses a genuine Georgian handed painted portrait of a fine lady, behind a domed glass window. The bangle itself has a very simple design of 3 linked bands all the way round and fastens with a tongue and box clasp, with an additonal clip fasting for extra security. There are no hallmarks, this piece has been tested and guaranteed as 15ct gold. There is a small testing mark by the hinge in the photos (this has since been polished and is not noticeable). The total weight is a very generous 15.4 grams- over £270 worth in scrap gold alone, but this is obviously far from scrap. The external measurements are approx 6cm (hinge to clasp) x 5cm. The internal measurements are approx 5.4cm (hinge to clasp) x 4.5cm. The portrait locket measures approx 2.5 x 2cm (including frame). The condition is excellent for its age.
