Here is a classic calcite that I think would have been good enough to include in that issue.It is a calcite with a little marcasite from the Mid-Continent Mine, Trace, Pitcher Field, Tri-State Dist., Cherokee Co., Kansas, USA. It was mined in 1934. It is a very attractive specimen in excellent condition. The center crystal is doubly terminated. It measures 4.5 x 3 x 2 inches.
