features 100% Hand Painted, hand pottered and kiln - fired, highly glazed enameled figure
with masterfully captured wonderful facial expression, fantastic coloring, a posture and high details:
a cane in the one hand and a scroll in the other hand, a beautifully designed light pearl - gray robe
embellished withimmaculate white enamel relief floral pattern....
It is clearly marked on the bottomside withimpressed Kutani mark
and attributed most likely to thelate Meiji - early Showa period.
It is very doubtful to find anything moreattractive andthe sametime more realisticthan this statue !

18\" tall ( 45.7cm )
6 3/4\"in the widest part(17.1cm )
63/4\" x 5 1/2\" in the bottom ( 17.1cm x 14cm )
The weight is about9 pounds unboxed+ oversized box with wrapping is in excellent condition for the edge with some yellowing on the back
and bottom portions and very very minor spread to the nude color just below the left ear,
noticable in close inspection only.
We did not find any visible chips, cracks, hairlines , repairs or any other damage.
We did not try to clean this statue in a reason not to damage it.
Cames from aprivate collection and was kept very carefully for decadeson display only.
