Fine Mineral Specimen - AQUAMARINE BERYL - Sawtooths, Idaho - SUPERB COLOR! DT!
A superb, doubly-terminated floater aquamarine crystal from the Sawtooth Mts in Idaho! This specimen was collected by Stan Esbenshade in the 1980s. It has intense dark blue color, is very gemmy and even hosts a small quartz crystal perched on the side of one of the terminations (both of which are rehealed). The prism faces are slightly etched, which is typical of the material from this locality. A superb miniature from this legendary, yet obscure, American locality.
Specimen measures 4.5 X 0.8 cm
Specimen No. 00000158
