This elegant Victorian Fire Screen is wearingits original finish and holding what we believe to be its original floraltapestry which is done in tones of rose, mauve, peach, beige, blue, green andblack. This rare beauty weighs 20 poundsand measures 34 ¼” in height from the floor to the center of the top scallopedfleur-de-lis crest, 17 ¼” in depth and 30” in width. The carvings and details on this VictorianRosewood Fire Screen with Period Floral Tapestry are phenomenal!

Pierced, carvedscroll work is found on the top and bottom of this fabulous Fire Screen and a beautifuldimensional carved scalloped fleur-de-lis crest graces the center of thetop. The shoulders of the top areadorned with fancy bulbous finials and the frame is done in a rope twist carvedconfiguration. Additional details include small rosette roundels, a glass frontcovering the tapestry, and a beige fabric covered backside with matchinggimp.
