Fine Pair Of Coral Back Saucer Dishes. Yongzheng Period (1723-1735). Known Prov:
This beautifully and thinly potted pair of small Yongzheng Period saucer dishes have white interiors and coral enameled exteriors and are in perfect condition.When slightly tilted towards natural daylight, the coral colour of the exterior of the dishes shows through in a most attractive translucent manner. No chips cracks or restoration. The diameter of each is approx 4 1/4" or 11 cm. Provenance: purchased by the late owner from the well known firm of oriental porcelain dealers Bluet & Sons of London at the Grosvenor House Fair in the late 1970s.
