ITEM DESCRIPTION

Item Description

Up for your consideration is a pair of older seascape paintings, with a name plaque reading \"William Knell\", who was a renowned English seascape artist. I am unsure of the originality, so they are being sold as \"in the style\" of Knell. They are painted on artist board, and custom framed. My best guess is that they were painted c. 1920, but an examination of the photos provided should be useful.

They measure 19.25\" x 11\", and the outer dimension of the frames are 22.25\" x 14\".

Both paintings are in excellent condition, free of craquelure or loss to the paint. The frames are also in excellent condition, showing light wear commensurate with age and use. They appear to be original to the artwork.
