ITEM DESCRIPTION
Up for your consideration is a fine pair of early Royal Vienna porcelain covered urns. The urns likely date to the 1860s - 1880s period, and feature the non-symmetical behive mark in a blue underglaze. To quote an identification book:
\"If it is an original Imperial & Royal Manufactory piece, the authentic beehive mark is never symmetrical and always underglaze in blue or impressed\" The other marks (incisedpotter\'s mark, signed titles on the base)are also consistent withtrue Royal Vienna and not later works in \"the style of Royal Vienna\", but ultimately the quality of the pieces should allow you to make a true identification.
The urns are completely hand painted, and free of chips, cracks, or crazing. The only condition concern is some minor wear to the gold gilt decorations, most pronouced in the inner opening for the lids (as shown). The urns each measure 13.75\" tall.

WHY SHIPPING MAY TAKE UP TO 10 DAYS AFTER PAYMENT
Safe shipping methods is a priority for me!!! Often this requires having custom made packaging from an outside service, or the use of 3rd party insurance (i.e. not from UPS or FedEx who are notorious for not paying claims). These issues can be resolved, but require the use of a professional packing service, and this can add several days to the shipment. If this is an issue, please notify me, as most items are shipped much sooner (especially if I can pack the item myself). However,please be aware that when making apurchase, there is a possibility that I will need tooutsource the packaging. I do guarantee that it will be shipped (from our end) within 10 days.

Currently, our gallery is in transition. Personally, I am responsible for all activities. This includes packing, shipping, item descriptions, and communications.My responsibilities also include all initial purchases (either at sale, estate purchases, etc.),and restorationsand cleaning.
For this reason, Igraciously ask for extra time for shipments. Usually, items are shipped within 5 business days, but sometimes takeup to 10 days. I monitor my account on a daily basis, and will gladly provide my cell phone number if requested. As my response shows, I am an honest & reliable broker. I package & describe my itemsmuch better that most.
Usually, I can accomodate a special request, but ask for some sympathy & understanding based on \'s new hyper-critical rating system, and ever-changing rules. Please understand that customer satisfaction is my highest priority.
Also, please note that I lose money on shipping overall. I do my best to offer a fair estimate. Sometimes it is a bit higher than actual costs, but often I lose $30 - $40 on certain items that are just a bit to heavy,or an odd size. If for some reason that shipping costs are substantially less than what ispaid for, I will refund the balance. However, please understand the cost of materials, as I only use quality & new materials. I never charge for my labor.
