Item: Fine Period Edwardian 1902 English Sterling Silver Sauce Boat Streeter & Co. This is a beautiful example of a Large English Sterling Silver Sauce Boat made in the early part of the Edwardian Era 1902 by renowned silversmith maker Streeter & Co of the fashionable Bond street of London. The sauce boat has the highly collectable and desirable scorpion handle with cut away edging rim , leading onto large rounded bowl, this then sits upon three hooved feet. Hallmarks to the base which are still in a legible finishing. The sauce boat then rounds it self of with a large generous spout. Has a highly polished silver finish to its entirety free from any initialling or personalisation. Displays very well, carries hallmarks for London. For the collector or investor of fine English silverware. Made in one of England’s most famous London Streets – Bond street.
