  • A vintage rosewood box with brass fittings containing various brass drawing instruments with steel points and rules and scribes etc.. , as shown. The box measures 8.25 in (210 mm) x 4.9 in (125 mm) x 1.75 in (45 mm) and has a lift-out tray which fits neatly inside the box. The padded watermark silk covered underside of the lid has UNIS E&S FRANCE ( Union Nationale Inter-Syndicale). I think the numbers 18 and 7 give some indication of the Maker ? This pulls down to reveal more storage space. Overall, the instruments are in very good working condition with no real damage. The box with brass vacant cartouche and esctcheon is also in very good clean condition and just requires a key.
