Fireborn Studios Daniel Vito Signed Tea Pot With 4 Cups Bamboo Handle For Sale
This is a beautiful handmade teapot with a bamboo handle and 4 matching cups made by Fireborn Studios and Art Gallery, owned by Daniel Vito and Donna Hetrick and located in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. This appears to be the Glacier glaze, a Chinese chun glaze, characterized by a mottled, glossy surface of blues, greens and purples. The teapot is signed "Vito" and the cups appear to be signed with the word Fireborn. Visit Fireborn's website for more information on this gorgeous pottery: Fireborn pottery, made by Daniel Vito, is sold exclusively at Fireborn Gallery. His work includes unique one-of-a-kind pieces, large show pieces, dinnerware and serving pieces, tea and sushi ware, mugs, bowls, sculpture, wall-hangings, and experimental designs and glazes. Daniel has been making pottery since 1972. Pure white porcelain clay is usually used, creating the ideal background for Fireborn's high-fired, vibrant, Asian-inspired glazes, such as chun, celadon, tenmoku, shino, and copper red. Each piece has been designed and created with concern for function and durability, so you will enjoy your selection for years to come. Per a posted wedding registry, a similar teapot from this gallery recently sold for $120 and mugs were $20 each. This would make a lovely wedding gift!
