This fine 19th century Boxwood flute was made by Firth Pond and Company 547 Broadway New York and measures 12 1/4\" in total length. Each of it\'s 3 sections measures as follows; 4 1/2\", 2 3/4\" and lastly 4 1/4\". It has one key at it\'s foot joint and 6 finger holes. One key is made of brass with it\'s original pad and spring still working. Four dividing sections are made of white bone and it\'s D pitch comes through very clearly. Tiger stripping further enhances this antique flute\'s beauty. This piece has never been cleaned or restored. Please message should you have any questions. Paymentexpected within 3 days of sale end.

Please note; We have taken the flute apart & checked with intense light and large magnifying glass & find that all sockets and tenons are all fine with no cracks or damage of any kind. If anyone would like to view these images I can easily send them to you in a message.
