I get questioned if these are the real deal .. . ..Yep, these are brand new, \'gen-u-wine\' Fisher AG7 Space Pens. I pick them up at the Boulder City NV factory.I went to work for Paul Fisher going on 53 years ago. I manage their largest account. I named the pen in 1963, it was prior to the word \"Space\" being common in our vocabulary so I chose AG for Anti Gravity and 7 for the original Mercury 7 Astronauts..thank you for your interest in our products. Fisher Space Pen. AG7 Original Astronaut model. Introduced in 1963. All metal, chrome. Over 1.5 million sold in the past 50 years. Pressurized cartridge. 5-1/48\" long. The button on the top extends the point to write and the button on the side retracts it. This mechanism met the NASA requirements of no plastic parts in the pen. The mechanism was invented by Paul Fisher. MSRP $55
The pen is normally supplied with a Black Ink, Medium point cartridge but we can change that if you wish.
It was in 1967 that NASA finalized it\'s rigorous testing and the Fisher AG7 Space Pen was provided to the Astronauts because it was the only pen that would write in the gravity-free vacuum of outerspace.

For foreign orders. the pen is not in the regular Space Pen Box and Sleeve. US Postal regulations rate it as a First Class Package if the padded envelopewe mail in is over 3/4\" thick.
