DESCRIPTIONFOR YOUR CONSIDERATION
A large framed fantastic picture of a 1930 youth. The clothes may be different, but we\'ve all been there, done that, or had kids just like this one, and the memory of watching yourself wiggle your toes under the water somehow reaches out to us across time. Now this is a strong picture! In the upper right hand corner it says \"Buffalo Evening News\" and in the lower right hand corner is the Calendar for January 1930. The printing is signed Jesssie Wilcox Smith in red in the lower left hand corner. The overall Frame is 24-3/4\" tall by 20-3/4\" wide. The mating is printed onto the picture and is approximately 1-1/2\" wide. The actual color portion of the print is about 14-1/8\" wide by 18-1/2\" tall. The print could be matted and/or trimmed to exclude the writing and calendar, but it can also be easily matted to just cover the printed matting already in place. There are a couple of places where the paper seems a little stretched, but not torn or ripped. It does show its age, but it is really clear and clean and ready to be hung. Yes, yes it is suitable to hang as it is but believe me, matted this would be a total eye catcher. I\'ve yet to see an adult walk past it without smiling.
