Estate find and true work of art! Henry Guedy board/plate from the rare book titled Decorations Peintes pour Devantures et Interieurs de Magasins published by Dourdan (Emile Thezard) in 1900. The book consisted of Art Nouveau designs for the exteriors & interiors of salons, stores, etc, including titles and headers for displays. Henry Guedy published and created La Decoration Artistique which is the go-to for true Art Nouveau.
This plate is framed behind Tru-Vue UV museum glass. It has been professionally framed in a lovely complimentary goldtone frame with roping and columnar accents. The piece is double matted. The frame measures 21 1/2\" wide X 18 5/8\" tall.
