Franco Pozzi Ceramica Cono Breakfast Set For Pierre Cardin - Moma Collection:
Both MoMA and Architonic attribute the design of this fabulous vibrant green stackable ceramic Cono breakfast set to Joe Colombo for the Espace Pierre Cardin store in Paris in 1970. Other sources debate this, saying that it was designed by Italian ceramicist Ambroglio Pozzi for his father's company, Ceramica Franco Pozzi.
This five-piece set includes: salt and pepper shakers, an egg dish, and two bowls. This rare piece is in excellent vintage condition, with only one very small imperfection (as seen in Image 6) and is glaze signed, plus features the Franco Pozzi / Pierre Cardin sticker.
Incredibly hard to find; the larger dinnerware version is a part of the permanent collection at the Museum of Modern Art in NYC.
This piece will be shipped well packed and insured with signature required via UPS to only physical US addresses.
