Franklin Delano Roosevelt Signed Color Photo Jan. 20 1941 3rd Inauguration *rare:
This incredibly rare Washington Times Herald portrait facimile signed & dated on the THIRD INAUGURATION OF U.S. PRESIDENT FRANKLIN DELANO ROOSEVELT 32nd president of the United States January 20th 1941. This date is significant because it's the only time a president of the United States has ever been inaugurated for a third term, before the twenty second Amendment to the United States Constitution, that which limits a president to two terms, was radified. And possibly the first inauguration to be recorded on color film. The Roosevelts hosted a reception for several thousand visitors at the white house that day.
