This is a Franklin Mint Civil War Chess Set. The playing area sits in the top of a dark wood box that stores the pewter chess pieces. Previously owned, this set is in good vintage condition. Please see photos, I have tried to capture the detail and condition from all angles. The box will show some minor scratches and wear, the pieces are in great condition. This amazing set does not come with the original paperwork and booklets.A very unique set, beautifully detailed and a real treasure.Measures: Approx: Box 12 3/4\" Square, the squares are 1 1/4\" and are 8 X 8.
