I purchased this for my parent’s as an anniversary gift. It was neverused, displayedor played with.All of theChess Pieces are in Mint condition.I’ve taken it out of the box tore-inspect, and take our pictures.
Disclosures: No issues, no missing pieces, no broken parts, no fading anywhere on set!!!
COMES WITH: White exterior Franklin Mint box . The blue box contains all the components of the Chess Set. Both boxes include ALL of the original Styrofoam that came with it.
Chess Set: Each piece is made entirely in pewter/cast finished and painted by hand.Very Heavy. Decorated with eagles: wings outstretched, mounted on each corner. Riders are in 3D. The checkeredboard is a heavy thick glass that you can remove to access the fitted velvet sections that allowsyou to display the game pieces. If you are not already familiar with all the features and options of this chess set, please conduct a google search (Franklin Mint) that will explain in detail all the attributes of this beautiful set and the size dimensions along with it\'s actual weight before offering.

Franklin Mint Papers: Comes with the original Certificate of Authenticity book entitled \"Civil War\" (describes each of the games pieces). Also, the \"Collectors Portfolio\" envelope is still sealed in plastic with it\'s I.D. number-never opened(see picture for close-up).
