In the dramatic tradition of Carl Faberge\'s jeweled eggs and inspired by the world\'s celebrated arrival into a new millennium, the House of Faberge created Peace on Earth Commemorative Egg, made available only through the Franklin Mint in the year 2000.

This beautiful piece was made in an extremely Limited Edition of only 1000 pieces worldwide, thus making it extremely rare and collectible. It was originally priced at $6900.00. The egg is inscribed with the Faberge Cyrillic \"F\", the jeweler\'s mark of excellence and authenticity.

The egg itself becomes the global earth, with continents formed by precious pave white sapphires against a sea of rich blue enamel guilloche, enhanced by garlands of richly gleaming accents of 24 karat gold. At the base of the egg is a timepiece inspired by the original Faberge clocks, marked with bold Roman numerals that encircle the base and a single golden hand that marks the hours.

Crowning the egg is a graceful winged dove sculptured in solid sterling silver and gleaming accents of genuine 24 karat gold and with white sapphires. Inside the egg is a splendid sunburst sculpture crafted in solid sterling silver richly coated in 24 karat gold. It\'s topped with a golden bow accented with white sapphires.
