Franklin Mint Porcelain Doll The Rose Princess 1989 By Joyce Reavy:
The Rose Princess 1989, by artistJoyce Reavy for the Franklin Mint.
The doll stands approximately 21" high and is made of fine bisque porcelain and beautifully hand painted. Her bodice is made of green taffeta, veined with goldenembellishments and accents of dewdrops made of faceted crystals. Her gown is made of petals of ruffled organza, trimmed with shimmering iridescent thread. She also holds a rose in her hand that has a crystal at the center,in whichthe petals are slightly faded. She is barefooted and supported by a doll stand. She is in excellent pre-owned condition.
This was a limited edition release and cost $295.00 when new.
I do not have the box or the original papers but she will be very well packed. She has been on display in a sealed china cabinet in my smoke-free home.
I am downsizing and parting with many dolls and teacups from my personal collections.
