Franklin Mint 1951 HUDSON HORNET B11XA10 Die Cast Collectible Cars Precision Models with Original Box and Packaging.
Franklin Mint began making precision die cast cars in 1983 after Warner Communications bought them out. They have since sold over 600 models of motorcycles, cars, and truck. Their collections were called Franklin Mint Precision Models, well known for their exquisite detailing.
This 1951 HUDSON HORNET is beautiful green with the white sidewall tires. The twelve photographs don\'t seem to make a dent in highlighting the details in this car. The doors open to show the highly detailed interior. A molding on the back reads, \"Hornet\" with \"1951\" license plate. In very good vintage condition. Was previously owned by a collector. There is a hole at the top for the antenna. I don\'t know if that is supposed to be that way; the picture doesn\'t show an antenna and there was not one in the box. Still it is exquisite. Hallmarked on the bottom, \"Franklin Mint Precision Models 1951 Hudson Hornet Chrysler Corporation\". 1:24 scale.
