As the 20th anniversary of her untimely death occurred this year, you can see the lasting impact of Diana\'s service to others all around the world. For everyone who remembers her, as well as younger people who know her as a historic figure, Princess Diana\'s legacy lives on. Known as the \"People\'s Princess\", those of us who lived during her lifetime will also remember her as the \"Queen of People\'s Hearts.

Diana wore this gown at a cancer fundraiser in Chicago. The Franklin Mint ensemble includes; the gown, purple high heels, purple purse, amethyst and pearl necklace with earrings of faux diamonds and amethyst. Yet again, the Franklin mint produced a gown that replicates Diana\'s outfit perfectly.

The Diana doll pictured in photos 2 and 3 is one from my own collection wearing this ensemble. It shows there is a slight train in the back of the gown. The last 3 photos are of Diana wearing the gown.

Unfortunately, the Franklin Mint stopped production of their high quality dolls, ensembles and accessories several years ago, making them more difficult to find as time goes by.
