This collectors item is extremely rare; the lucky ones having bought one in

the1990\'s will just wait untill the value increases, which these clocks

already did,since they were made!

The value of these pieces will only grow further in the next decade.

This clock belongs to the absolute TOP range ofFranklin mint pieces and

thelabour which has been put into the design is HUGE!

This clock isSO beautiful....

It has been madeat the end of the last millenium and dates from themid

1990\'s.

This beauty is NOT available in any shop neither will collectors offer one,

in acondition this beauty finds itself in, for areasonable price.

The most special thing isthe ROTATING globe, making a full rotation each

24hours.

It comes inblue glass, which is partlytranslucent and makes it possible to

seethe other side of the globe whenlooking at one side.

The continents are layed on in gold.

The moon is made of the AGATE Mineral and makes a full rotation in one

month!

The clock has LOTS of Gilt parts, such as the Meridians, the continents,

thecompass, and the beautifully decorated ends of the pillars.

The movement is fully gilded too!

The pillars and the base of this piece are made of black MARBLE.

There is a 14 days movement, which I believe to be a HERMLE one.

The front and backplate of it have stunning black carvings in them.

The way the time is displayed is special too; it has a 24 hours scale which

moves in circles, taking the Earth an Moon with it.

The clock has a Schwebegang movement which doesnt need a levelled

surfaceand runs for 14 days on one winding cycle.

Special also is the place where the key is.

There is a drawer containing it.

In the same drawer there are the buttons to set the front LCD display,

coveredby the ORIGINAL Name plate of the clock.

This display counted the days backwards untill the year 2000.

You can also set the display to show the current time.

Finally there is the wooden base in various colours havingbrass / black

metalplates on each corner with drawings of the Moon and Earth.

The glass dome is free of scratches!

This clock is in a great condition but not new.

Mentionable is that the marble plate cracked in 2 parts (Factory Issue),

which Irestored in aprofessional way.

There is only a hairline visible at one side of the movement now, which is

notdisturbing at all (see photo 12).
