Recently, I discovered of large private collection of drawings in central Belgium. The drawings, collected during the past 25 years, do show a variety of subjects and age.The present drawing, executed in pen, ink and grey wash on 19th century paper, depicts a portrait of a woman in a seated pose.Authorship : the drawing is from the French School, signed right below (unreadable till present).Period : the drawing is dated in the year \"1849\" (right below).Size : 36,5x26,9cm.Condition : Good. Some scattered dirt throughout. Bottom corners : pinch holes. Backside : traces of a support. Unframed.Shipping : flat shippingrate 18$ (stiff paper, larger size, impossible to roll up).
