This charming antique style Frog Doll is made of muslin and stuffed with sawdust. The frog measures nose to heel a little over 17 inches. That includes the main body which measures about 7 inches from top of head to butt. From heel to toe is another 5 inches. Yes those feet are long, and they are fixed about 90 degrees from the leg, as if standing, or ready to jump.Very artistic painted green spots cover the tops of arms, legs, and back of head.The clothing is sewn to the body. Coveralls are very old gingham or calico fabric and the shirt is a cotton print.On the bib of the coveralls is a really cute ladybug, and a hand stitched patch with hand printed writing that says: \"Green Thumb Gardener\".This is a one of a kind. I am no expert in these, but my guess of the vintage is that it\'s likely the 1970s, based on the ladybug and buttons.
